2 · Emergencies
Family Defense Solutions is not an emergency service.
Family Defense Solutions does not provide 911 response, dispatch, monitoring, or emergency services of any kind. If you are facing an emergency — a fire, a medical event, an intruder, or any other immediate danger to life — contact your local emergency professionals (police, fire, EMS) immediately. This site and our program exist to help families prepare BEFORE a critical moment; they are not a substitute for calling for help DURING one.
3 · Outcomes
Training reduces risk. It does not guarantee it.
Firearms instruction, safety drills, and family-preparedness planning can meaningfully reduce risk and improve response under stress. They cannot, however, guarantee any particular outcome. Decisions in a critical moment are still the decisions of the people in the room. The program is designed to make those decisions faster and better — never to remove the human element, and never to promise a result.
4 · Your responsibility
You remain responsible for lawful, safe decisions in your home.
Clients are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws — including those governing firearm ownership, storage, and use — in every circumstance. Family Defense Solutions encourages lawful, age-appropriate, situation-appropriate decisions, and continuing adult supervision of any practice drills conducted in the home. Safe storage, safe handling, and safe decisions are and remain the responsibility of the adults in each household.
